We went on a cycling trip from Andheri to Arnala fort – a round trip distance of about 120 km following a route that hugs the coast all through the Vasai island.

The fort is on an island that can be reached by a rickety fishing boat overloaded with people and luggage. The island is occupied by the fishermen community and we were as much of a spectacle for them as the fort was to us.
